Illustrator Ciara Coogan and I created this little beauty in collaboration with water wellbeing specialist Aisling Lynch. We launched our illustrated poem Let Go Child with a special reading and dip at Ladies Beach in Salthill yesterday evening.
I wrote a bit about how this project came about in this post, and I’m happy our zine is now in the hands of the lovely peeps who came along last night. The event was so well attended we ran out of copies to give away, so if you missed out please email me.
Our little sea circle
With so much of our reading being online now, it feels extra special to have made something in physical form. Everyone left with a smile on their face, and I’ll take some of the credit for that, even though smiles are pretty much guaranteed post sea-dip in Galway!
